For the past 6 years, India day has been a great success that has brought the Louisville community together. To make India day even better than before, the committee feels it is time to expand and include more people in brining this event to its fullest potential. Due to this expansion, I am sad to announce that we are not going to be having an India day this year in the hopes to take this time to expand our committee and make a huge splash for 2012 India day. I am sorry if this is an inconvenience to the vendors, audience, and participants but I do hope you will continue to support and participate in the India days to come.

India Day in Louisville, Kentucky is hosted by THE INDIAN COMMUNITY OF KENTUCKY and INDIAN PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL create awareness about the Indian Culture, adding the cultural diversity of Louisville, KY. The festival is a one of its kind event presented by Indian community annually bringing the diversity of South Asian culture with all its splendor and Indian entertainment to Louisville, KY.


The event is extremely popular among the Kentucky locals and surroundings areas attracting college students, health professionals, vendors from across the country, entertainers, artists, people interested in Indian culture, those seeking food, drinks, entertainment, henna tattoos, Indian dresses and ethnic artifacts, This event offers an excellent opportunity to businesses to increase exposure of their products and services to the diverse audience at India festival.
