CULTURAL PROGRAM GUIDELINES

• Finalized Event Date - 24th September, 2016
• Venue of the Event - Belvedere, 5th and Main Street, Downtown Louisville, KY
• Deadline for submitting entries with following details via email, karsid95@gmail.com - June 30th 2016
1. Identify Song
2. Small description of the program for MC
3. Duration of Song
4. Contact name, email address and phone #

• Programs can be of any music that showcases India.
• Minimum Age of Participants : 10 years or older
• Maximum Program Duration : 6 minutes
• Minimum # of Participants in a program : 5 or more participants
• Submit following via email by September 10th 2016
1. Submit soft copy via email of your songs in mp3 format
2. Any special lighting requirements

• Participant must bring the song CD in mp3 format on the event day.
• India day committee will accommodate performances as per duration of the cultural show.
• The entries for the Cultural Events shall be considered based on first come first serve basis.
• The sequencing of shows would be based on nature of the program and will be decided by India day cultural committee.

COOKING COMPETITION GUIDELINES

Cooking competition will be in 3 categories

Appetizers
Main course (Sabzi or Dal)
Dessert


• Cook at home for 5-7 people
• Bring ready to eat
• Can participate in one or all three
• Arrive before 1:00 pm at belvedere
• Judging based upon presentation, taste and innovation

RANGOLI COMPETITION GUIDELINES

• Arrive at 1:00 pm at Belvedere with colors.
• Participants will get 1 hour to complete
